As a young girl, I grew up in a traditional Hindu family, where my father Late. Shri Haribhau Bapat used to recite the Bhagvad Geeta, Sanskrit stotras, shlokas and subhashitas. He made me fond of reading. We had a lot of books in our house. The first book I read on astrology was “Jyotirmayukh” by Late Shri Moghe Shastri.
Being a native of Mool nakshatra along with Kuja Dosha, my horoscope was not accepted for the marriage proposals. Academic success in financial and legal studies with a stabilized job in the bank would not answer rejections. This was a turning point to seek the answers through astrology. Further the harsh realities of life made me turn inward to dig deeper to understand karmic laws. When things were not falling into place, I tried to strengthen myself to overcome tough times and to stay focused on the answer part doing remedial measures and prayers.
I started taking courses at the “Jyotish Abhyas Mandal, Thane (India). After completion of “Jyotish Shastri” with flying colours, I began my own research of astrology, drawing up the charts of family members and close friends. I was astonished to see that the validated interpretive principles which I had learnt in the class were working right with almost all the horoscopes I collected. Then with the study of over hundreds of charts, I gained the accuracy over a period of time. Now with the proficiency at interpreting charts, clients are coming to me for “a reading.”
The last fifteen years has been a divine experience in my Vedic astrology career. I get the opportunity to serve the people through the blessings of God. While helping others, one can sense that our problems are reduced like miracle. While counselling others we get healed ourselves.
